Emma Ouellette

Certified Veterinary Technician

As a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician with over 8 years of hands-on experience, Emma specializes in providing a calm and supportive environment. Her journey in veterinary medicine has equipped her with mastering skills in various areas, including anesthesia, radiology, dental care, and client education. Emma is passionate about implementing the chill protocol, a stress reduction approach designed to make veterinary visits as comfortable as possible for our patients. Emma strives to create a relaxed atmosphere that promotes healing and well-being.

Outside of being Dr. Watkins right hand person, Emma resides in Scituate with her husband, three wonderful children, and two rescue dogs Loki and Arlo. During summer, you’ll often find her in Vermont enjoying quality time with her family, where she hopes to someday have an animal sanctuary and apple orchard. She also enjoys playing on a coed rec soccer team, playing the violin, horror movies, and taking her pups on walks.

Chrissy Roach

Certified Veterinary Technician

You will find this wonderful part-time technician hiding out in our surgery suite, manning anesthesia and keeping our beloved patients safe and happy. Chrissy was born and raised in the south shore. She graduated from the now closed Becker College in Worcester in 2018 with an associates vet tech degree and a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine. She has a passion for wildlife and used to work at the New England Wildlife Center. Between Chrissy and her roommates she has 5 cats, a guinea pig, a created gecko and a bearded dragon. When not at work, she and her boyfriend are currently working on visiting all of the national parks in the united states.

Zoe Stoner

Veterinary Technician

Zoe has been working in veterinary medicine since 2010. As a veterinary technician, she adores all of the furry friends, especially the geriatric patients and has a huge soft spot in her heart for wildlife. Her passions are being a mom and photographing sunsets. She lives locally with her daughter and her 3 pugs.

Deb Gaboriault

Receptionist

Deb was raised on the South Shore then spent a few years in Florida. Since 2008 , Deb has been the welcoming face and voice of leading specialty and emergency practices here in Massachusetts. In Deb’s role as receptionist, she expertly manages the front desk operations, greeting clients with warmth and compassion while efficiently handling scheduling, patient intake, and inquiries.

While living in Florida she volunteered and transported injured wildlife to C.R.O.W. ( Center for Rehabilitation of Wildlife) on Sanibel Island. She has fostered feral kittens and utilized the TNR program to help the feral colony management. Deb strongly believes that the human and animal bond can be mutually beneficial and help the reduction of anxiety.

When Deb is not in the office she enjoys her time with her three rescue kitties. Toby, Sam and Ashe. She loves the beach, attending concerts and road trips! With 15 years of receptionist experience we know that Deb will ensure both clients and their pets receive the highest level of service.

Kelli

Receptionist

Kelli is a wonderful addition to the practice. She has years of experience in vetmed as well as horsemanship. Her previous technical skills allow her to jump and help where ever needed. There is no job she can’t do! When she is not here with us you can find her enjoying time with her family and variety of dogs from small to the large!

Leah Spada

Veterinary Assistant

Leah Spada is an active and involved member of the South Shore community, where she resides with her husband, their three children, and a playful house rabbit named Penny. Following a 20-year career in private aviation, Leah brings her love for animals and years of experience fostering and caring for pets to the 143 team.

Leah’s commitment to animal welfare extends beyond her own household; she serves on the board of directors for the Cohasset Working Dog Foundation (CWDF). Alongside her late rescue dog, Chloe, Leah participated in the CWDF Certified Therapy Dog program, where they worked as K9 ambassadors, bringing comfort and joy to those in need.

In addition to her professional and volunteer commitments, Leah has a passion for competitive tennis and enjoys skiing adventures with her family.

Carly

Carly

Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in Scituate, Carly is thrilled to be a part of the 143 Veterinary Services and give back to her hometown community. She has worked as a veterinary technician for nearly a decade, with experience in general practice, emergency/critical care, intensive care, and exotic animal nursing care. She holds certifications in Fear Free (Veterinary Elite, Avian, and Shelter) and RECOVER CPR Basic and Advanced Life Support.

Carly enjoys taking the extra time to address all questions and concerns, no matter how big or how small, to ensure you feel confident, supported, and well equipped to provide the best life possible for your beloved furred family member. Carly transitioned from full time to per diem at 143, helping cover shifts and fill gaps wherever needed to upkeep her clinical skills while primarily working as the Shelter Operations Manager at Hull Seaside Animal Rescue, a local non-profit cat-specific rescue.
